Holder of a COC Master Mariner, trained at Akademi Laut Malaysia and Pelita Academy. Began with MISC in 1994 sailing worldwide, became Chief Officer in 2004 and later served as ship captain across Malaysian fleets. Moved into management as Operation Manager and Offshore Vessel Coordinator for Asian-region seismic survey operations, serving as company DPA/HSE representative. Appointed Pakar Industri Negara by the Department of Fisheries Malaysia.

Over 40 years of experience. Holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (Marine Technology) from UTM, 1993. A qualified Surveyor, Auditor and Project Manager certified by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), with deep experience in marine and offshore inspection, verification and assessment. Former General Manager and Senior Manager (Rules & Development) at Ships Classification (M) Sdn Bhd, with prior service at Kuantan Port Authority and DNV in Singapore and Malaysia.

Technical Superintendent

Over 40 years in marine engineering, tanker operations, OSVs, ship management, shipbuilding supervision, dry docking and maritime compliance. Started with the MISC chemical tanker fleet as a Foreign-Going Engineer, then held senior technical and management roles with Malaysian ship-owner and shipyard companies. Project experience with Petronas and Shell. ISM / ISPS / ISO 9001 expertise, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, and MBOT-registered Certified Maritime Technologist.

Over 40 years of experience. Diploma in Nautical Studies (Singapore Polytechnic) and Class 1 Master Certification (Australian Maritime College). Senior operational and leadership roles with Shell Malaysia, Petra Energy Berhad, Alam Maritim Berhad, Keppel FELS Singapore and Pacific Richfield Marine. Expertise across marine operations management, vessel inspections, ISM/ISPS/MLC auditing, SIRE preparation, marine advisory and crew management.

More than 40 years across maritime, oil & gas, shipbuilding and vessel operations. Senior technical and operational roles with MISC, Tractors Malaysia, Bureau Veritas Malaysia and Powertium Marine Sdn Bhd. Expertise in marine propulsion systems, vessel maintenance, fast crew boats, ship repair, classification inspections and technical project management — including propulsion supply and commissioning for Royal Malaysian Navy vessels.

More than 20 years in building, infrastructure, earthworks and marine-related construction across Malaysia. Notable involvements include the 31-storey Plaza Ivory development in Penang, upgrading works at FTZ Bayan Baru, bridge infrastructure in Penang and marine maintenance at Penang Port ferry terminal.

Professional Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health Management (with distinction) from the University of Malaya, plus a Certificate in Quality Assurance. Began with Esso Malaysia Berhad at Port Dickson Refinery in 1983. Over 40 years across crude-oil refining, offshore production, drilling, and petrochemical manufacturing — focused on safety, QA, and risk assessment and mitigation.
